FPV250 Mini Quad with Diatone Cage

This is an example of the FPV250 mini Quadcopter with Diatone cage built by ‘finkbuilt’ on RC group. It looks really awesome!

AUW weight including 1300mah 3s 30c battery and 808 camera is 459 grams. Flies great in horizon mode on stock pids! Getting 6 minutes with this setup, landing at 10.5v.

RCX 1804
5030 CF props
10A RCX G ESC with simonK firmware
5.8Ghz TS351 Video TX
PZ0420 WDR pilot camera
808 #16 lens D HD cam
HK E-OSD
homemade cloverleaf antenna
frsky d4r-ii in CPPM
telemetry batt sensor (couldnt get Naze telemetry out working).

I just building a beater quad out of spare bits i have here using the fpv250 frame, did i see somewhere you strenthened the frame underneath was it successful, I building one with some 2212 sunnyskys and think i may need to beef up the arms..

Wanted to thank you for all the info you have put up i am in a bind my computer is on fritz and have a build i am in the middle of is there a place i can buy esc and a flight controller already flashed oh i have a blackout 250 quad and a 6 channel flysky and this is my first multirotor build if any advice i be more than happy to help out thank u Elijah

Hobbyking sells 12A afro ESCs which is flashed with SimonK firmware, so you don’t need to flash them yourself.
As for FC, you don’t need to flash them, they should work out of the box. Hobbyking has also started selling Naze32 now.
