I have always wanted a small pre-built FPV drone with DJI FPV System (under 250g), so I can fly in my local parks. The HGLRC Sector132 does exactly that! It’s not super powerful, but nimble and functional, the more I fly the more I enjoy it!

This is a review of the Veyron 3 Cinewhoop from HGLRC. I will take a close look at the quad and point out the good and bad. Finally I will show you how to set up this FPV drone for first flight.
The 20x20mm HGLRC Zeus35 has FC, PDB and ESC all integrated into one single board. This powerful little FC is designed with 2″, 3″, 4″ and even 5″ FPV drones in mind, but can one flight controller rule it all?
HGLRC is taking a different approach at the “toothpick” style ultra-light micro quad. They are using bigger motors with much lower KV and pair with heavier triblade props. I can’t wait to try this out! Spoiler: it’s a freestyle beast! :D
So this is the first time I build a “toothpick” style micro quad from scratch and not buying a pre-built kit :) This should be fun as I get to choose my own hardware!
This week I am building a new 5″ quad that runs 6S LiPo. The goal of this build is to test new technologies of a few products, and new features in Betaflight. There are new 6S LiPo I will be testing on this build too.
Here is an overview of the Forward 65A 4in1 ESC HGLRC just sent me. I will go through the specs and features of this ESC, and look at it closely before putting it in a new build (happening in a week or two).
It’s time to build another 3″ quad! This time I will be using parts mostly from HGLRC – the first time I am checking out their products.
