Speedybee upgraded their Bluetooth adapter to WiFi, you can now setup the flight controller in your FPV drone with only smartphone, no need for computer. You can even flash Betaflight firmware and use BLHeli Configurator through the Speedybee mobile app.
This week I am building a new 5″ quad that runs 6S LiPo. The goal of this build is to test new technologies of a few products, and new features in Betaflight. There are new 6S LiPo I will be testing on this build too.
If you want to record your FPV flight from your camera without all the signal breakup, then you might want to check out the Speedybee DVR VTX! It’s basically a 600mW video transmitter with a built-in DVR (digital video recorder).
The Speedybee TX500 is a video transmitter you can mount in a 20x20mm FC stack. It also has built-in mic, VTX control and some other features that you might want to consider.
There are times I wanted to configure my quadcopter using smartphone app, but I couldn’t install a bluetooth module because there isn’t a spare UART. Check out the Speedybee USB to Bluetooth adapter, an alternative to Bluetooth modules.
The Eachine SpeedyBee SEC FPV camera is a new budget option for racing drones. While popular light weight, micro size FPV cameras such as the Runcam Micro Swift 2 and Foxeer Micro Arrow can cost between $30 to $35, the Eachine Speedy Bee might be a cheaper alternative at the $20 price range.
