A flying wing needs mixer setting up in your radio for Aileron and Elevator to work correctly. Using flight controller you might not need to worry about this, but without an FC you’ll have to set this up manually.
Without a flight controller, the motor in your wing can spool up as soon as you touch throttle. I nearly cut myself a few times. To avoid an accident, I will show you how to setup an arm switch in the Taranis for a wing. It should also work on RC airplanes too.
I am very excited and scared at the same time with this project. I will be building a fixed wing and attempt to fly it in FPV. I have absolutely no idea and experience with wings so I am expecting some explosion and blood in this one :)
T-Bone FPV shared with us his crazy rescue operation of his newly re-built Bixler fixed wing plane, from the very top of a high tree. I found the story very entertaining, but it must be a massive headache if you were the guy in it. :D
