This week I am building the BetaFPV X-Knight 5″ Toothpick – a 6S 5-inch FPV drone under 250g including battery, using the X-Knight frame and some other components from BetaFPV.
A few weeks ago I built the Umma85 cinewhoop – a 104g FPV drone carrying the decased GoPro Hero 6. This time I am building a slightly larger version with bigger propellers and Caddx Vista for FPV.
Imagine having a 100g micro drone that’s capable of shooting GoPro quality video… Well, dream has come true! In this post I will show you how I built a drone that carries the GoPro Hero 6, but is even lighter than a GoPro :D
This week I am building a new 5″ quad that runs 6S LiPo. The goal of this build is to test new technologies of a few products, and new features in Betaflight. There are new 6S LiPo I will be testing on this build too.
It’s time to build another 3″ quad! This time I will be using parts mostly from HGLRC – the first time I am checking out their products.
7″ quadcopters have better efficiency and flight time for long range than 5″. You can use a lot of same components from 5″ racing drones on 7″. It is larger than a 5″, but you can still comfortably carry it around.
The Strix Screech 5″ freestyle frame is a great value option developed by ReadymadeRC. I am still finding it hard to believe you can get a frame of this quality at such a low price.
The Reptile S800 V2 is my second FPV wing and I absolutely love it so far! Extremely durable, affordable and easy to build. It flies pretty nice too! In this build log I will document what I did and offer some tips for anyone new to wing FPV.
I’ve been a great fan of the BeeBrain V2, never had such an easy and fun experience building and flying a tiny whoop. It’s about to get better with the new BeeBrain Lite, a more compact and better performance FC for the Tiny Whoops!
In this post, I will be reviewing and building the Ummagawd Acrobrat 3″ micro frame from Rotor Riot, with the latest Runcam split Mini V2 camera.
