Configuring LED on BLHeli_32 ESC

Many BLHeli_32 ESC’s come with built-in RGB LED’s which you can configure in BLHeliSuite_32 configurator. Let me show you how in this guide.

But don’t get too overly excited, here is the catch – it doesn’t actually do much. You can turn them on or off, and there are only six colours you can choose from. There is no special effect or advance features like Betaflight LED.

The available RGB LED colors are red, green, blue, purple, yellow, cyan and white.

By default LED is off. You can enable LED by connecting the ESC’s to BLHeliSuite_32, and click on one of the three buttons under LED Control. This allows you to choose a color as well.

By enabling multiple buttons you can mix the color.

If you want to get the LED that changes brightness with throttle, you should check out Motor Wire LED’s.

Note that not all BLHeli_32 ESC’s have LED built-in.¬† Here are my ESC recommendations for mini quad.
